UAE Sustainable Energy

Sustainability is the new buzz word in the region, with the UAE government aggressively creating and promoting programs related to sustainable energy. At present UAE is leading the MENA region on the sustainability front; there are approx. 1,200 green buildings with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (Leed) accreditation in MENA, 67% of which are situated in the UAE.
